Print Manchester
Permanent marking on metal, wood, leather, slate and stone. No ink and no transfer - the mark is the material itself, so it cannot peel, wash off or fade. Engraved in-house in Manchester on a dual-laser xTool F2 Ultra.
Print sits on top of a surface. An engraving is part of it - which is why it outlasts everything else we do.
Nothing is added to the surface, so there's no ink to fade, no vinyl to lift and no print to crack. It survives dishwashers, workshops and years of handling.
The fibre laser marks stainless steel and titanium in over 100 colours - not just the grey you get from most engravers. Very little of the trade round here can do it.
A 0.03 mm laser spot holds fine text and thin line work, and twin cameras place the design on the item to 0.2 mm. It shows on small things - tags, tools, watch backs.
No screens, no setup plates and no minimum run to make it worth doing. A single engraved gift takes the same setting up as a hundred.
Two lasers in one machine - a fibre laser for metals, a diode laser for everything else.
Stainless steel, aluminium, brass, titanium, silver and gold, plus plated and painted metal. Marked flat, marked in colour, deep-engraved, or embossed into raised relief for awards, badges and jewellery.
It cuts brass, stainless and aluminium too.
Wood, bamboo, MDF, leather, ceramic, marble, slate and jade - even brick and cement.
It also cuts wood up to 23 mm and acrylic up to 20 mm, so a sign or plaque can be cut to shape and engraved in the same job.
Dark and coloured glass engraves; clear glass usually doesn't. A laser needs the surface to absorb its light, and clear glass mostly lets it straight through.
Send a photo before you commit - we'd rather say no than spoil something of yours.
A sense of what comes through the door. If yours isn't here, ask - the answer is usually yes.
Tumblers, insulated bottles, hip flasks and tankards - wrapped right round or on a single panel.
Engraved both sides: a name on one, a number on the other. They outlast the collar.
Spanners, knives, multi-tools and machinery marked permanently against theft or mix-ups on site.
Deep-engraved and embossed plaques and shields, including colour-marked steel and titanium.
Cut to shape and engraved in one job - door signs, house numbers, machine and safety plates.
Slate coasters, wooden boxes, leather goods, jewellery and anything else worth keeping.
Send the item, roughly how many and your artwork - we'll come back with a price and tell you honestly how it will come out before anything is marked. Vector art (SVG, DXF or PDF) gives the crispest result, but a good photo or PNG works too.
